Calling all foodies! Food & Wine is bringing a (culinary) celebrity packed weekend to Vegas in Mid-October with its 2nd annual All-Star Weekend in Las Vegas. Hosted by Gail Simmons (famed food critic and Top Chef judge) and sommelier Anthony Giglio, the weekend is packed full of exciting events including cooking and wine pairing demonstrations, as well as luncheons and presentations hosted by several celebrity chefs. The roster includes national celebrity chefs and several Las Vegas staples, including:
Hosea Rosenberg (Top Chef Season 5 winner)
Sam Talbot (Top Chef “Fan Favorite” winner)
Stephanie Izard (Top Chef Season 4 winner and mastermind of Chicago’s famed Girl & The Goat)
Julian Serrano (of Las Vegas’ Michelin two-star Picasso and self-titled tapas restaurant at Aria)
Jean-Philippe Maury (former Bellagio and current Aria executive pasty chef)
Events take place Friday October 21 through Sunday October 23. Two of the events in particular caught our eye. First, Deuce After Dark at Aria on Friday night includes desserts, cocktails and blackjack tables hosted by guest chefs! Also, the Main Event on Saturday night is an All-Star Tasting featuring sample-sized portions of signature dishes from famed Las Vegas restaurants as well as unique creations from celebrity chefs. As if the food wasn’t enough of a sensory overload, the event will be held in Aria’s gorgeous pool area.
