St. Patrick's Day Overview
St. Patrick's Day is a great party holiday, and Las Vegas is a great party town. While there isn't a huge influx of travelers over the holiday, its presence is definitely noticed on The Strip. There are plenty of events, casino promotions, and hotel discounts to be had. While nearly every place does its best to show some spirit, the Irish oriented bars and hotels typically have the largest parties.
Keep in mind that if the holiday falls on a weekday, most of the festivities will occur the weekend before. Finally, by March, winter has left the desert, but it is still a little too chilly for poolside lounging. The mild temperatures, however, are perfect for an afternoon of barhopping on The Strip.
