Originally built in the 1940s, after several major renovations, the hotel maintains something of a hot pink tropical theme, and is a popular destination for value seekers. Pool Description
The "wow" factor for the Flamingo Hotel is the enormous pool area, with 4 major swimming areas including the very popular lagoon pool deck with waterfalls, stone grottoes and water slides. You can rent a Lagoon Lounger - a double chaise lounge with pillow, a moveable sunshade, and a bucket of ice-cold beer thrown in as an extra. Take a dip in Bugsy Siegel's original pool or play swim-up blackjack. Thousands of palm trees dot the pool grounds, and serve as sanctuaries for free roaming flamingoes, swans and African penguins. There is an ample supply of rafts and pool toys.
